HISTORY : Chambolle-musigny is one of the Burgundy wine regions.
It is a wine-growing region with a long history， having been granted village AOC status in September 1936， when the Wine Law was enacted.Although there are 148 hectares of vineyards， most of the wine produced is red wine made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes. There are two special classified vineyards， Musigny and Bonnes Mares， and the village of Musigny Blanc rivals Vosne-Romane in Burgundy in producing high quality red wines. Musigny Blanc is known as an extremely rare and expensive white wine. The wines are delicate， elegant， and refined， and have been called the most feminine wines of Burgundy and the "Lady of Burgundy.
